Cycling is one of Gloucestershire’s most popular outdoor activities, and what better thing to do after a long bike ride than take a break at the Good News Centre’s cycle-friendly cafe.
We’re situated in the centre of Newent, a picturesque market town half a day’s ride from Coleford, Cinderford or Ross on Wye.
The Good News Centre is easily approached from the rear entrance where there is a large patio area with good bike parking and outdoor seating. If you are expecting to bring a group of cyclists it would be great if you could phone a couple of days ahead of your visit.
We look forward to welcoming lots more cyclists in 2015, whatever the weather!
“…We certainly left with spirits lifted and well-fuelled for the return journey.”
The Good News centre was recently featured on the popular WyeDean food and drink blog – “WyeDean Deli confidential” as part of their series on “The Best Cycling Cafes in the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean”. Find out what they had to say here.
